Is dental sedation safe?
Yes. We use trusted, medically approved sedation techniques overseen by experienced professionals.
Will I be fully asleep during treatment?
Not necessarily. With oral sedation or gas (Relative Analgesia), you’ll be deeply relaxed but still awake and responsive.
How long does recovery take?
Most patients recover the same day, especially with gas sedation. Oral sedation may require a bit more rest.
Can I drive myself home after sedation?
No. You’ll need someone to escort you home, especially if you’ve had oral sedation.
Is sedation covered by NHS or insurance?
Sedation for nervous patients is usually private, but we’ll talk you through costs and finance options.
